Built in 1907 the Mountain View Historic Hotel is a beautifully restored "turn of the century" property. Nestled at the foot of the Snowy Range Mtns, on Highway 130, at 8200' just 28 miles west of Laramie, Wyoming, the hamlet of Centennial is gateway to some of the most awe-inspiring high country adventures in the western state. It exudes an aura of early western, railroad and mining charm. The MVH has 3 floors, 3 large suites, 3 smaller guest rooms, commercial kitchen, cafe, espresso bar and a residence apartment. Space exists to refinish 1 additional suite, and 1 room; a 3rd floor apt. Features such as original hand-beat tin ceiling, original floors, wrap around deck and fireplaces add to its historic charm. The rooms have hand pealed log beds, quilts, down comforters, Direct TV, VCR, microwaves, ref, coffee makers and coffee fresh from our roaster. We currently have a full-time massage therapist in a small spa room. Open year round it the property operates as a Historic Hotel, Cafe and Coffee Shop but could easily be operated as a Bed and Breakfast and has in the past. The business has a high occupancy rating with 95% coming from advance bookings. The business has a loyal and consistent customer base with a large percentage of repeat business and customer referral.
