The Homestead Inn was originally built by John Prime Treadwell in 1853, as his private residence which housed three generations of Treadwells until 1915. It was then owned by George T Sperry until 1928, when it was established as The Homestead Inn.
There are eight rooms in the Main House, six rooms in the Treadwell House adjacent to the Main House and a two room Cottage Suite. All rooms are furnished with country antiques and reproductions. Each guest room has a private bath, cable television or LCD, DVD player, air conditioning, telephone and WiFi. Pets are allowed in the Treadwell House.
Located at the top of the New Milford green in the heart of the Litchfield Hills, this quant fifteen room Inn has been owned and operated by Bill & Sherry Greenman since 2003. Please join us each morning for a full breakfast served in our dining room.
