The Cove B&B offers a great combination of features that are desirable to travelers. The 7 guest rooms are spacious and the baths are almost all larger than average. All guest rooms have a private balcony or screened porch. The Cove has water views, despite the fact that in Ocracoke, everyone has to drive to the magnificent, wide open (and sparsely populated) beach. To help the guests enjoy the island, the B&B offers bikes, beach chairs and towels. There is a small beach walking distance at Springer’s Point, a 120 acre nature conservancy.
The adjacent cottage for owners or managers on its own lot has two bedrooms, a full bath, full kitchen, living room, laundry, and a delightful screened porch in front. There is also a spacious deck toward the back. A vacant lot, available for purchase separately, is on the other side of the inn’s main building. It serves to protect the view shed as well as affording possible expansion potential.
