There's a fully remodeled apartment located behind the Hickory House above the 2-car garage, convenient living quarters for the owner or manger of the B&B. Built in 1902, the house was used as a church rectory. The sturdy brick structure was then converted to a bed and breakfast when the historic church next door was demolished. The remodel was done in a period style with many of the rooms furnished with antiques and period consistent wall coverings and artwork. Each of the rooms has an ensuite bath or shower and some have separate sitting rooms in addition to the bedroom. There are hardwood floors throughout. Electrical and mechanical systems were modernized. Common areas are comfortable and welcoming including a full kitchen, laundry and business areas.
